Helwig’s BPK Probe measures the shaft voltage of VFD and DC-PWM controlled motors. An easy-to-use device used to determine if the bearings are at risk of damage from induced shaft currents.

The device will display a pass / fail test result. A higher risk or volts present on the shaft will trigger a FAIL result, meaning the motor bearings are at risk of damage.

An embedded Bearing Protection Kit™ (BPK) will depict the reduction of risk level or voltage if a Helwig BPK is installed.
