Helwig Carbon created a custom engineered brush and holder assembly upgrade for the Hitachi 1.5 to 1.7 kW turbine generators with longer brush boxes for increased brush support. They included Teflon spacers to protect against flashovers and a stable and radical holder design with replaceable spring clips, in addition to other design improvements.
