Send a purchase order to field.service@magnetek.com for your new telePendant at the discounted price. They will send you an RMA number. After you ship them your old Pendant-Style transmitter, they will build you a new telePendant configured to operate with your existing receiver. Your new transmitter will be shipped to you within two business days.

You can still buy the Pendant-Style until May 31, 2017.

Magnetek will continue to offer parts and repair service for the Pendant-Style transmitters until 2024.

Magnetek Named Preferred Authorized Repair Center for ELDRO® and ELHY® Thrusters in USA and Canada

Magnetek, Inc. announced it is partnering with EMG Automation GmbH, Germany, to be the preferred authorized repair center for their ELDRO® and ELHY® electrohydraulic brake thrusters in the United States and Canada. EMG’s electrohydraulic thrusters are used in crane applications to ensure the safety of people and machines during braking procedures, emergencies, or power failures.

Magnetek will offer a one-year warranty on repairs and will also serve as a distributor of EMG thruster spare parts in the U.S. and Canada.

Available in five sizes, Magnetek’s Industrial Duty Spring Reels provide a cost-effective, pre-engineered solution for general purpose applications such as overhead material handling cranes, mobile cranes, construction cranes, emergency and rescue vehicles, monorails, excavators, and welding systems.

The new Magnetek cable reels are designed to be mounted on moving machinery and used to supply power for the automatic winding of flexible power or control cables. Magnetek offers both spring driven and motorized electric cable reels, as well as slip ring assemblies.

Magnetek’s XLTX and MLTX2 transmitters are ideal for hazardous or potentially explosive locations.

Temperature Ratings:

New temperature ratings allow the XLTX and MLTX2 transmitters to operate in higher temperature application 40°C to 60°C (-40°F to 140°F), including those geographic areas that experience hot weather conditions.

Field Programmability:

An update to the Radio Control Programmer (RCP) allows the IR Adapter to be used for read/write configuration on the hazardous locations transmitters. By supporting the Magnetek IR Adapter with the RCP package, customers can now reprogram the transmitter in a non-hazardous location in the field, making setup easier and faster.
