DC Motor Source Introduces 800 Series Blowers

March 20th, 2012

DC Motor Source introduces the 800 Series Blower designed for drag-lines, mining and certain mill motors. These blowers are designed to fit the GE MDP 820, MDP 822 and MDP 824 motors.

Blowers sit on top of the motors and if the original equipment fan fails and comes apart, the blades can go into the large motor and damage it. The 800 Series Blower solve the known issues with the blower by using reinforced blades, improved exit screens to catch debris if there is a failure, improved mounting and decreased vibration.

A 15-horse power motor option is available to drive the blower.
